some acquaintances of mine are enlisting my help, and through me, yours.

we are organizing a BIG 1960's style demonstration for peace, attempting to
grab headlines away from OJ Simpson and the like, and focus more on healing the
earth and the residents of it.

if you know any ...
        musicians
        performers
        non-profit organizations
        groups
or      people

interested in helping out with such a peace-inspired event, it's happening THIS
COMING THURSDAY AND SATURDAY the 23rd & 25th at Olvera Street in Downtown
LA.

we need:
        people to organize children's activities
        people to make signs
        people to distribute flyers
        people to email their friends
        people to get their groups interested
        people to talk to their religious contacts

religious figures are especially invited to come speak for world peace.  
unitarians, aetherians, catholics, jews, atheists; anyone, as long as
they preach a message of tolerance.

organizations are welcome to apply for a table where they can discuss their
purposes with the general public.  thus far we have earth preservation groups,
new age energy groups, and the City of Los Angeles Police Department, and
others.  we're trying to include the entire gamut of pro-peace thinking.

the event will also have a great deal of pure entertainment value, with music
and fire-eating and juggling and poetry and more.
